Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Laravel Back-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in back-end development, a deep understanding of Laravel, and be passionate about building efficient, scalable, and secure applications. You will play a key role in designing and developing our platform’s back-end architecture, APIs, and integrations, and collaborating with front-end developers to ensure smooth, end-to-end functionality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust back-end solutions using Laravel.
• Design, develop, and manage APIs to support mobile and web applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to improve usability.
• Implement security measures and data protection standards.
• Optimize application for performance and scalability.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Integrate external APIs and third-party services as needed.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile processes.
• Maintain best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development with at least 3 years working with Laravel.
• Strong Knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and modern PHP development practices.
• Database Experience: Proficiency in working with MySQL and other relational databases.
• API Development: Experience in designing, implementing, and managing RESTful APIs.
• Security and Compliance: Familiarity with best practices for application security.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git for code versioning.
• Performance Optimization: Understanding of caching mechanisms and experience optimizing applications for speed and scalability.
• Testing: Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex applications and resolve issues.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with front-end technologies like Vue.js or React is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Laravel packages like Passport, Sanctum, and Cashier.
